The workshop is based around the ‘Boy is Everywhere’, by A.M.Dassu, which follows Sami’s difficult journey fleeing from Syria with his family to Britain. The training will provide teachers with resources in order to lead their own activities back at school to develop pupil’s understanding and empathy towards the experience of being a refugee.

Students will design posters to welcome new arrivals to their class and receive a certificate to congratulate them for their fantastic work. We will create a digital display for each school alongside their own. Book now to avoid disappointment! Get in touch with Anna.Champman@Newham.gov.uk
