As part of Refugee week – Eastside Community Heritage and London Stadium Learning are launching a series of free learning resources.

The website Home | Making Newham Home provides educators with a variety of teaching resources centred on the refugee experience and empathy.  It is designed to help deliver engaging lessons that culminate in digital posters to welcome New Arrivals, Asylum Seekers and Refugees into schools and communities.

Competition – The best posters will be featured on our websites, printed out to share with others and the school where the students posters are from will gain a free copy of – Boy, Everywhere by A M Dassu. To take part please register with  anna.chapman@newham.gov.uk
